A small paperback booklet, containing a collection of both intimate and public 2016 writings by author, Stevona Elem Rogers centered on Black womanhood. This body of work contains vibrant full colored visuals, original poems, narrative essays, and a timeless intergenerational interview with the author's grandmother. Southern, Black woman vernacular jumps off the pages as the consistent themes of womanism, freedom, and growth are explored. Written with vulnerability and rebellion the chapbook serves as a reminder of the dynamic interconnectedness of Black women.
